May 13, 2006 · 1B & 1I are the idle air bleed passages, 1E & 1F are the main air bleed passages. I've rarely seen any contaminants anywhere except on the restrictors themselves, but a soak in carb cleaner and a blow out with compressed air should take care of any potential gunk. RPM should stay the same or slightly drop. If the engine does not pick up when it's cold, it's probably too rich. That helped somewhat as far as A/F, but the car ran like crap everywhere else. So I dropped back down 5 sizes to I believe to 71's.
